MARQUETTE - Rachel (Pond) Johnson has joined the Kitch Drutchas Wagner Valitutti & Sherbrook law firm's Upper Peninsula office in Marquette. She joins Susan MacGregor and Scott Brogan in the upper Michigan office, and will serve as a member of the firm's healthcare corporate and regulatory law practice group in Detroit.
Johnson grew up in the U.P. and graduated from Northern Michigan University cum laude in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in health care management. Since graduating from Michigan State University Law School in 2001, she has practiced law with Priority Health, Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Michigan and most recently as corporate counsel at Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming.
She is a member of several health care laws organizations, and has a leadership role with the Health Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
