PAINESVILLE, Ohio - The Northern Michigan University volleyball team improved to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in the GLIAC with a 25-8, 25-13, 25-8 victory at Lake Erie College.
Senior Jasmine Calhoun, junior Lina Lopes and freshman Lisa Studnicka led the team in kills with eight. Junior setter Kellisha Harley had a game-high 29 assists, Lopes had four aces and freshman libero Alex Berger led with 14 digs.
The Wildcats wrap up their 13-game road swing today at 2 p.m. at Ashland University before hosting Michigan Tech at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Vandament Arena in the 2012 home opener.
