MARQUETTE - North Star Academy was cleared of students late this morning after a bomb threat was called in to the Marquette Township school.

The Marquette County Sheriff's Office said officers responded.

North Star CEO Karen Anderson said students were bused to the Marq-Tran facility on Commerce Drive, where they can be picked up.

Homecoming activities at North Star, scheduled for this evening, will continue as planned.
