MARQUETTE - Northern Michigan University junior wide receiver and offensive captain Christian Marble-King has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Ashland after aggravating a right knee injury Tuesday in practice.
Marble-King, whose season is in doubt, is second on the team in receiving with 10 catches for 143 yards. Sophomore WR Julian Gaines leads NMU with 16 catches for 183 yards.
Last year Marble-King led the Wildcats in catches with 58 for 481 yards and three touchdowns.

If Marble-King can not go the rest of the season, he is eligible for a medical redshirt. Had he played a single snap Saturday against Ashland, he would not be eligible, it being Week 4 of the season.
