LYNDHURST, Ohio. - For the fourth time in its first five games, the Northern Michigan University soccer team was shutout, this time on the road by Notre Dame College, 2-0, to open GLIAC play.

Lauren Acker recorded both goals in the second half for NDC, who is playing NMU for the first and possibly last time before leaving the GLIAC after one season for the Mountain East Conference next year.

NDC goalkeeper Christy Kolschetzky stopped all seven shots she faced while NMU redshirt freshman Shelby Conard made four saves.

Northern, who sits at 1-4 overall and 0-1 in the GLIAC, wraps up a five-game road swing at noon on Sunday at Lake Erie College. The Storm fell to Michigan Tech 2-1 in overtime on Friday.
