ISHPEMING - Household Appliance and Riverside Club kept their hold on first place in their respective divisions of the Ishpeming Twilight Horseshoe League on July 18.
In the Classic League, Household Appliance doubled up Willey's Tire Shop, 12-6, while Negaunee VFW stayed within a game of the top with a 13-5 win over Paradise Bar. In the Major League, Riverside held off a challenge from second-place StoneHouse, 10-8, while Norm's Black Rail defeated Hickey's Bar and Maki's Mini-Mart took out Jack's TeePee Bar by the same score.
