CCA JV track team scores first place

June 19, 2012
The Mining Journal

The Crossroads Christian Academy Junior High boys' track team earned first place honors at the Northern Lights Conference Meet hosted by Munising Baptist School on May 19. The team, in its second year, included both boys and girls competing in a wide array of track and field events. Because of the small size of the team, the boys were assisted on the 400, 800, and 1,600-meter relays by girls' team members Savannah Wood and Sydney Waterman, placing against all-male competitors.
