K.I. SAWYER - A pair of teams were crowned champions at a three-man senior scramble held at Red Fox Run Golf Club on May 24. A total of 72 golfers participated.
In the 64-and-under age division, Rick Ebbeson, Dennis Bratonia and Walt Carroll won with 62, followed by the Rev. Ronald Timmock, Kip Ahola and George Fergeson as runners-up with 63.
In addition, two teams shot 64 - Kurt Hedstrom, Jim Ghiardi and Martin Ghiardi, along with Ed Flath, Buryl Smith and Jim Picotte - while Bob Dufresne, Steve Delveaux and Bob Prins had 65.
In the 65-over division, Jack Woodall, Jim Litwaitis and Howie Burke won by five strokes by shooting 60. Next with a 65 came Ken Nelson, Lee Hill and Bruce Chapman, followed by a pair of teams with 67s - Ron Titter, Carl Tibbens and Ted Sudinsky, along with Ed Moilanen, Mikael Leppaluoto and Bob Johns.
