MARINETTE - Registration forms are now available for the seventh annual Sand Lake Conservation Camp, to be held at Camp Bird near Crivitz, Wis., from June 21-23.

Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula youth entering grades 6-8 in the fall are invited to participate. The fee is $55 if postmarked before June 1 ($70 after June 1) and includes room, board, and all activities and programs. Registrations accepted until June 8th and are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, so register now.

Camp programs cover a wide variety of topics and hands-on experiences, including wildlife, water quality, fisheries, forestry, and outdoor skills.

Natural resource and education professionals teach the programs, serve as counselors, and give campers an inside look at different careers available in the natural resources and conservation field.

Activities and programs also give campers the opportunity to enjoy Camp Bird's beautiful surroundings, make new friends, and participate in positive outdoor experiences.

Visit and search for "Sand Lake" or "Conservation Camp" - the first result is the camp website link. Scholarships are currently available.
