MARQUETTE, Mich. - Olivia Jean LeMoine, age 18, of 168 Valley Road, Negaunee, entered eternal life Monday evening, February 6, 2012.
Born January 26, 1994 in Marquette, a daughter of Mindey Marie (Harvey) Talus and Duane Gerald LeMoine, she was raised in the Marquette area and attended Marquette Senior High School. Olivia was very active with her school activities, playing JV soccer, basketball, and starting powder puff football for the girls. She served as student rep for the health advisory board, served as homecoming coordinator, and served on the student council.
Her academics were very important to her. Olivia was a member of the National Honor Society and participated in the Student Ambassador Program, traveling to Europe and Mexico. In her academics, she also was recognized as Student of the Month in the eighth grade and her junior year and served as Student Ambassador for the State of Michigan. Olivia worked at Iron Town Pasty where she received the name "Pasty Queen" by her grandparents and also worked at Maurice's as a sales clerk. In her spare time she loved reading, fishing, fashion, shopping, going to the beach, hanging with friends, concerts and country music. Olivia was loyal, strong willed, loving, caring beyond belief, friend to everyone, and was never afraid to speak her mind and stand up for what she felt was right.
She will be loved and missed most for her smile that would brighten your day and a quick wit to make you laugh throughout the rest of the day.
