GWINN - Gwinn Area Community Schools will conduct kindergarten registration and vision/hearing screening for students entering kindergarten in the fall.
Children must be 5 years of age on or before Dec. 1, 2011 to be eligible for kindergarten. Parents must schedule an appointment in advance and must provide the child's birth certificate and immunization records upon registration.
Registration and screenings dates are as follows:
- George D. Gilbert Elementary School - 8:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 10, in the library. To schedule an appointment, call 346-5726.
- K.I. Sawyer Elementary School - 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12, in the community resource center.
