Former Ishpeming resident joins UBC

ISHPEMING - A Former Ishpeming Township resident, Dr. Jeremy Senske, took a position with UBC Inc.,in Puyallup, Wash. UBC is a medical rehabilitation facility specializing in the treatment of individuals with chronic pain.

Senske is a licensed psychologist in Washington State. His background includes working with individuals with psychosis, unipolar and bipolar depression, anxiety, and chronic pain, as well as experience working with individuals in acute crisis situations.

Senske holds a Psy.D in clinical psychology from Argosy University, Seattle. He completed his internship at the City of Hope in Southern California, where he had the opportunity to work with persons with a variety of health issues, including those with diabetes, cancer, hemophilia, sickle-cell anemia, and chronic pain. He also holds a bachelor of ccience degree in psychology and a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Northern Michigan University. He graduated in 1997 from Westwood High School.

Senske has been in the clinical psychology field since 2004. Four of those years were spent in the community mental health field providing clinical services to severly emotionally disturbed adults and older adults, as well as individuals who were in crisis. He also has extensive experience with psychological and neuropsychological assessments. He recently began private practive and is also an adjunct professor for Argosy University's counseling program, teaching various core and elective courses.

Senske, his wife Ashly(Pizziola), and son Zakary reside in Seattle, Washington. He is the son of Judy and Jerry Senske of Ishpeming Township.
