MARQUETTE — Say goodbye to that rumbling sound when cars go through Founders Landing.
The two areas of stamped concrete on Lakeshore Boulevard, which cause a rumble-strip noise when cars pass over them, will be removed and repaved with smooth concrete.
The $32,850 expense will be paid either through a brownfield bond issue or brownfield Tax Increment Financing funds — not from the city’s general fund.
