ISHPEMING — Ishpeming city officials will meet again with the local businessman who is trying to start up a polyurethane plant in the city.
Tension developed between the council and businessman Robert Airaudi when the council did not transfer the deed for the property Airaudi is leasing from the city and for which he paid a $14,000 earnest deposit. The deed to the property is needed to secure financing for the project, Airaudi said.
