ISHPEMING — Two Ishpeming homes were heavily damaged by fire Thursday morning. The Ishpeming Volunteer Fire Department responded a little after 9 a.m. to a home at 914 N. Second St.
Assistant Fire Chief Jim Bertucci said he believed the fire began on the main floor and then spread to the second floor and the basement.
