ISHPEMING — Ishpeming’s new city manager Jered Ottenwess is finishing up his second week on the job, and many local residents and government officials got their first chance to meet him Thursday.
Ishpeming hosted an open house to allow Ottenwess to begin connecting with the community.
About 100 people attended the reception at the Ishpeming Senior Center. So far, Ishpeming’s city officials have expressed a lot of enthusiasm in working with their new manager.
