ISHPEMING — Ishpeming Department of Public Works and clerical employees hit the sidewalk in front of city hall Monday, voicing their displeasure with the status of contract negotiations with the city.
About 20 city employees, holding signs reading “compensate us like neighboring public works” and “give fair contract,” paced the sidewalks around city hall for two hours Monday afternoon.
