By Journal Staff Ishpeming Women’s Pool League Jack’s II destroyed Hickey’s II, 13-3; Paradise slammed Casino Bar, 13-3; American Legion defeated Rumorz II, 10-6; Jack’s III beat up on Rainbow Bar, 10-6; Rumorz I pounded Jack’s I, 10-6; and Wonder Bar topped Hickey’s I, 10-6. N.C.M.P.L. In week 8 results, Angry Beaver stomped Angry Beaver II, 13-2; Hideaway thrashed Full Throttle II, 12-3; Cascade II swamped VFW, 12-3; Cascade bombarded VFW II, 11-4; and Legion II beat Cascade III, 9-6. Also, Hideaway II edged Full Throttle, 8-7; CrossRoads nipped Legion, 8-7; Gwinn Inn shaded Happy Hour II, 8-7; and Happy Hour trimmed Gwinn Inn II, 8-7. Table runs were turned in by Brian Demers, Tim Simula, Bryan Kalbfleisch and Bob Greenleaf (twice).
