Electricians give out awards

MARQUETTE — Several members of the Marquette Electricians Local 1070 Midget AAA hockey team were honored Sunday at the team’s annual Year End Awards Banquet. The honorees were: Scott Willman Leading Scorer Award — T.J. Christensen (38 points). Most Valuable Player —– Jon Hill. Defensive Forward — Ezra McPhail. Forward Rookie of the Year — Dallas McLaughlin. Defense Rookie of the Year — Forest Folker. Academic Award — Clinton Bergmann. Hogan Award — Clinton Bergmann. Most Improved Forward — Tyler Szabo. Most Improved Defense — Chase Pruitt. Unsung Hero Award — Dan Dagenais. Character Award — Drew Ingram.

Casa Calabria maintained its stronghold on the league this past week, defeating U.P. Fabricating, 68-42.
