North Star evacuated

MARQUETTE — North Star Academy was evacuated shortly after noon today due to a threat, according to the school’s CEO Karen Anderson.

Deputies from the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department are currently investigating the threat – triggered by writing discovered on a North Star bathroom wall.

Anderson said she expected classes will resume as scheduled on Wednesday.
