Fourth is one of his favorite things
The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. There are a handful of different reasons why I like the Fourth so much, and for as long as I can remember, it has always been the one holiday of the year that I get the most excited about. There are so many parts of the day I enjoy, that I can’t pick any one as my favorite. First of all, the holiday means a day off of work for a lot of people, and that’s always nice. There’s nothing better than to take a day in the middle of summer and enjoy spending it with friends and family. Of course today is Saturday, but no matter what it still seems like a day to relax and enjoy as many of the activities as possible. Another thing is that everywhere I go it seems like there’s something fun going on. Parties, parades, family reunions, not to mention all the events that go on in Marquette’s Lower Harbor Park, where I spend a good portion of the day with my family.
