Slow Food CUP Potluck

The event is open to the public and is intended for anyone interested in good, clean, fair and tasty food! Meet at Presque Isle Park near the gazebo in the vicinity of the playground area. Signs will be in place to indicate the location.Please bring your own place settings (silverware, plates, cups, et cetera), as well as a dish to pass - preferably in keeping with the theme "North Country Regional Cuisine". Some suggested foods to fit the theme include: wild rice; maple syrup; rhubarb; cranberries; blueberries; pasties; venison; ramps; ethnic foods of the area; or anything that is fresh, local, or in season. Beverages provided. Participants may wish to bring a blanket or chair to sit on.

In addition to sharing food, be prepared to also share ideas and make plans for the future of the proposed Slow Food Central Upper Peninsula convivium.

One dollar charge for members of Slow Food and a two dollar charge for non-members. No charge for children accompanied by an adult. In case of inclement weather, meet at 5:30 at Babycakes Muffin Co., 223 West Washington Street, Marquette.
