Michigan won a shootout in Marquette last night by scoring three third-period goals to rally from a 4-1 deficit.
The Wildcats have a number of players out due to injury, including junior forward Jake Johnson (foot), senior forward Kory Kaunisto (shoulder), freshman forward Darren Nowick (hand) and sophomore defenseman Jake Baker (head).
One player not out tonight with an injury is sophomore Reed Seckel, who took a vicious hit to the head from Michigan defenseman Jacob Trouba in the third period. Reed has been cleared by doctors while Trouba is serving a one-game suspension after receiving a five-minute major and game disqualification. For live updates from the BEC tonight, give me a follow on Twitter and make sure to check back later tonight, early Sunday morning for more from MiningJournal.net and the Inside 1401 Sports Blog.
Also, give me a Like on Facebook in case I tweet too much and land in Twitter Jail again tonight like I did last night while Kyle Follmer was taking the final attempt for NMU in the shootout. Whoops.
